1. Who we are
STURDY GENT LLC operates sturdygent at https://sturdygent.shop. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you browse our store, place an order or contact us. Privacy requests can be sent to support@sturdygent.shop or to our address below.

2. Information we collect
We receive the information you submit, such as your name, email address, telephone number, shipping and billing addresses, order details, return requests and messages. If account features are used, we also process information needed to maintain that account.
Shopify and services involved in operating the store may process technical information, such as IP address, browser and device details, session identifiers, pages visited and transaction or security events. Cookies and similar technologies help operate the store; see our Cookie Policy.
Payment details are handled by Shopify and the payment provider you choose. We receive transaction information needed to manage your order, such as payment status and limited payment identifiers. Do not send full card details, security codes, account passwords or identity documents in an ordinary contact message.

3. How we use information
We use information to process payments and orders, arrange FedEx delivery, provide order updates, handle returns and refunds, answer questions, maintain store functionality, prevent fraud and unauthorized activity, and meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, third-party marketing-email applications or third-party live-chat applications. Customer-service and order emails are transactional communications, not a marketing subscription.

4. Who receives information
We disclose information as needed to Shopify for hosting and store operations, the selected payment provider for payment processing, FedEx for delivery and authorized returns, and professional or technical service providers when needed to operate the business. Each receives information relevant to its role.
We may also disclose information when legally required, to address fraud or security incidents, to protect lawful rights, or as part of a lawful business transaction with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell customer lists for money or operate our own targeted-advertising campaigns using the applications listed above.

5. Shopify and payment services
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes information to provide its services and, for some services, under its own privacy terms. Shop Pay, digital wallets and other payment services may have separate accounts, privacy notices and choices. Their practices depend on the services you use and the store's configured settings.

6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including order management, customer support, legal recordkeeping and dispute resolution. Retention depends on the type of record and applicable requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Shopify and payment providers may process information outside your state or country. Their relevant terms describe their processing and safeguards.

7. Privacy requests and choices
Depending on applicable law and our business's coverage under that law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, obtain a copy, or opt out of certain processing. Contact support@sturdygent.shop to make a request or ask about available choices. Where applicable, you may use an authorized agent or ask us to reconsider a decision on a request.
We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or authority. We will explain any applicable limitation, such as retaining records needed for legal obligations. We will not penalize you for exercising a legally protected privacy right.
Browser settings can control cookies. Where an applicable opt-out or consent control is available on the store, you can use it; legally required recognized opt-out signals will be handled as required. 8. Children and other websites
The store is intended for general adult shopping and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. External websites and payment services have their own privacy policies.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in operations or legal requirements. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where required.
